What You Bring
Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for customers. Daily tasks include operating cleaning machinery, mopping, vacuuming, wiping, sweeping, and cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows and oven canopies. External duties involve maintaining trolley bays free of leaves and debris, while always following health and safety procedures. Full training is provided. What will you need? Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential, as on‑the‑job training is supplied. Candidates must have an eye for detail, a positive attitude toward cleaning and customer service, and must provide a smartphone with NFC capability to use the Arcus Connect app for time and attendance. • Prior cleaning experience beneficial; on‑the‑job training provided.

Sainsbury’s stores operate seven days a week and Arcus offers flexible shift patterns, including 5‑day and 6‑day weeks with early‑morning, morning, afternoon and evening options. Shift 1 provides 16 hours per week (Sunday‑Saturday mornings) and Shift 2 provides 23 hours per week (longer morning slots), both including weekend work and the chance to increase hours through overtime.
