About the Role

The role focuses on delivering roadway projects for municipal and county clients, collaborating with engineers and designers throughout each project’s lifecycle, and managing and developing staff while fostering strong client relationships. As a key contributor, the engineer will help shape the transportation landscape in North Texas and make a positive impact on local communities. • Oversee design and delivery of municipal and county transportation engineering projects. • Develop project scopes, prepare fee proposals, and negotiate contracts with clients and subconsultants. • Coordinate budgets, schedules, and subconsultant team efforts throughout project lifecycles. • Maintain positive stakeholder relationships through regular communication with government officials, community members, and partners. • Monitor project metrics and adjust activities to meet deadlines and budgets. • Serve as primary client contact, ensuring successful project completion and high‑level client service. • Implement and uphold quality assurance and quality control procedures. • Manage monthly project accounting and invoicing. • Identify new business opportunities and support client development to grow the transportation practice. • Stay current on industry trends, promote innovation, and explore new transportation design approaches.

What You Bring

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and Texas EIT certification. • Possess at least three years of experience delivering transportation design projects. • Demonstrate strong communication, coordination, and strategic thinking skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer.
