About the Role

• Safely operate a heavy‑duty truck on assigned transfer routes. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) and report issues promptly. • Comply with OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal regulations while maintaining a clean, safe vehicle. • Immediately report unsafe situations, service calls, incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage to the Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Participate in scheduled trainings, briefings, and meetings as required. • Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and identify unsafe accounts. • Assist other drivers as directed and follow route assignments throughout the day. • Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager. • Properly dump containers, clean the customer’s site, and position containers upright with lids replaced, ensuring they do not block driveways or traffic. • Complete and submit customer tickets for excess yardage and finalize all documentation at route check‑in.

What You Bring

The role may require travel by air or access to federal property; candidates must possess a REAL ID or a TSA‑approved alternative, or be willing to obtain one. • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) and minimum age of 18. • Successful completion of pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical, background check, and motor‑vehicle‑record review. • Acceptable driving record. • No prior education or work experience required.
