About the Role
The Associate Director role at Cushman & Wakefield offers senior leadership within the Project & Development Services division in Western Australia. You will influence major projects, guide high‑performing teams, and shape the future of the business while ensuring governance, client satisfaction, and strategic growth. In this position you will lead and support a team of Project Managers across the state, overseeing day‑to‑day performance, governance checks, and risk management. You will drive consistent delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timelines, and champion quality standards and C&W project methodologies. You will act as a primary contact for major WA clients, building trusted relationships and ensuring service excellence. Additionally, you will support state sales strategies, review proposals and commercial terms, and promote cross‑selling to expand the project pipeline and retain clients. • Lead and support a team of Project Managers across Western Australia. • Oversee project performance, governance checks, and risk management. • Ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. • Drive quality standards and C&W project methodologies. • Serve as primary contact for major WA clients and build trusted relationships. • Contribute to client satisfaction, retention, and year‑on‑year growth. • Support state sales strategies and review proposals and commercial terms. • Promote cross‑selling across Cushman & Wakefield service lines.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate is a senior project delivery professional with Australian citizenship, strong commercial acumen, and a collaborative leadership style. Required experience includes project management in construction, engineering or commercial real estate, team development, and a solid understanding of HR, risk, legal and client management principles, supported by relevant qualifications such as AIPM, PMI, or CIOB. • Australian citizenship required due to federal government projects. • Experience in construction, engineering, or commercial real‑estate project management. • Proven ability to manage and develop high‑performing teams. • Relevant professional qualifications (AIPM, PMI, CIOB) or progress toward them. • Strong financial, procurement, and contracting capabilities. • Ability to build trust with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
