About the Role
In the role of Project Accountant 1, you will take responsibility for client invoicing, collections management and project budgeting, while also providing backup assistance on coding and processing A/P, time sheets, and expense reports. You will conduct accurate contract documentation, administration and maintenance, work with project personnel to provide timely contract performance data, and coordinate the project accounting system to ensure compliance with contractual requirements. You will assist multiple project managers and staff daily and perform other duties as needed, collaborating across the department in a fast‑paced environment.

What You Bring
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting • Associate degree in a closely related field or combination of education and relevant experience • Familiarity with Earned Value Management • Excellent verbal and written communication including grammar, punctuation, proofreading, spelling and telephone skills • Flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and collaborate with various managers in a fast‑paced environment • Self‑motivated, well‑organized and detail‑oriented • Ability to handle confidential information • Proficiency with MS Office including Word and Outlook
