About the Role

The position involves regular use of technical software to analyze, produce, and quality‑check deliverables for clients. Responsibilities include contributing to pre‑construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis across a range of project sizes, solving complex problems, assisting project managers, and collaborating across disciplines. Analysts will also become familiar with federal, state, and local regulations as well as Kimley‑Horn’s and client standards, and will learn software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, MicroStation, VISSIM, OpenRoads, Synchro, and GIS. • Use technical software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, MicroStation, VISSIM, OpenRoads, Synchro, GIS) to analyze, produce, and QC client deliverables. • Contribute to pre‑construction civil engineering design, planning, permitting, and analysis across varied project sizes. • Solve complex engineering problems, support project managers, and collaborate across disciplines. • Apply federal, state, and local regulations and client/firm standards. • Participate in tuition reimbursement, internal training, and professional development programs.
