About the Role
Calling all experienced Refrigeration Fabric Engineers! Are you fed‑up with long hours, driving ridiculous distances, and constantly sitting in the interior of your van? If so, read on. Our Refrigeration Fabric Engineers work 45 hours per week, with two hours banked each week to give you a 43‑hour work‑day and a Saturday‑Sunday on‑call rotation every seven weeks. You will be on call one week in seven, with overtime available. The role involves fabricating repairs to refrigeration equipment in client stores—including cold rooms, shop‑floor cabinets, and integrated doors or fittings—while adhering to Arcus and client health‑and‑safety procedures. You must complete your job list within preset times and maintain high standards, even during peak summer periods when rapid response to alarms is required.

What You Bring
You will primarily work independently but will also collaborate with a small team of Fabric Engineers, so strong teamwork and an easy‑going nature are essential. As an experienced professional you will not need hand‑holding on repairs, and we will support you with the computer system for the role. • NICEIC Accessory Course certification • Experience installing and repairing cold rooms and cabinets • Experience with basic electrical repairs, including trim and defrost heaters
