About the Role

This role supports three locations in Los Angeles County, providing network support, Building Management System (BMS) controls, and software security for one site. Dedicated remote support resources are available to assist across platforms, and the team aims to deliver outstanding customer service while meeting contractual obligations. The incumbent will monitor and maintain the courthouse security network, ensure Windows operating systems and associated software remain current and secure, and manage the Genetec video management platform daily. Responsibilities include troubleshooting network and security software, supporting the BMS, generating KPI reports, and collaborating with facility management to integrate IT and building systems. Additional duties involve documenting changes, completing capital‑expenditure projects such as cameras and intercoms, overseeing the Civic Center camera network, and assisting with lifecycle planning for each site. • Conduct monitoring of courthouse security network infrastructure. • Maintain up‑to‑date and secure Windows operating systems and software. • Administer daily operations of the Genetec video management system. • Troubleshoot network and security software issues with remote support. • Support and troubleshoot the Building Management System (BMS) alongside remote teams. • Run regular BMS reports for KPI monitoring and resolve arising issues. • Collaborate with facility management to integrate IT and building systems. • Document system changes, updates, and troubleshooting procedures. • Complete capital‑expenditure projects (cameras, storage, intercoms, etc.). • Oversee Civic Center camera network operations. • Assist in lifecycle planning for each site.

What You Bring

Candidates should have proven experience in network administration or IT support, preferably within facilities or security environments, and be familiar with Windows OS maintenance, software patching, IP networking, and Microsoft Server/Windows 10‑11. Strong problem‑solving abilities, independent and collaborative work style, and excellent communication skills for both on‑site and remote teams are required. The role also demands planning and coordination of resources, high accountability, attention to detail, and a team‑player attitude; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. • Proven network administration or IT support experience, preferably in facilities/security. • Strong knowledge of Windows OS maintenance, patching, and Microsoft Server. • Familiarity with IP network protocols and Windows 10/11. • Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Effective verbal and written communication with on‑site and remote teams. • Capacity to plan and coordinate resources for safe, timely, cost‑effective maintenance. • Proactive and professional communication style. • High accountability and dedication to customer satisfaction. • Strong organization, attention to detail, and team‑player mindset. • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
