About the Role

The HazMat Industrial Services Operator Driver/Technician is responsible for the proper transportation of various waste streams at generator sites, performing clean‑up of industrial waste safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable regulations, including emergency response hazardous and non‑hazardous spill clean‑up projects. Key duties include operating light and heavy equipment such as tankers, roll‑offs, vacuum trucks, box trucks, tractor‑trailers, skid‑steer, forklifts, pumps and pallet‑jacks; responding to customer spills and emergencies; conducting pre‑trip and post‑trip DOT inspections; maintaining vehicle logs and equipment; handling LTL and full‑truckload pickups; documenting manifests and work orders; processing hazardous and non‑hazardous materials; and performing lab‑pack, field service, and industrial service projects, plus other assigned tasks.

What You Bring

Preferred qualifications include the ability to use heavy and light equipment, proficiency with hand and shop tools and instruments, strong accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail, and the capacity to prioritize, stay focused, and manage multiple responsibilities; a HazMat endorsement is preferred. Minimum qualifications are a valid Class A commercial driver’s license and the ability to complete 40‑hour HAZWOPER training upon hire.
