About the Role
You will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of company equipment, including trucks, trailers, excavators, and generators, while performing road tests and operational checks to ensure repair quality. The role also includes ordering parts, maintaining accurate records, monitoring project deadlines, and keeping tools and workstations clean and organized. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support ongoing maintenance and operational goals. • Inspect, diagnose, and repair company trucks, line trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently. • Conduct road tests and operational checks to verify repair quality. • Order and manage parts, materials, and supplies needed for maintenance tasks. • Maintain accurate service records, reports, and project deadlines. • Keep tools, supplies, and workstations organized, clean, and presentable.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate is safety‑focused, has a high school diploma (or equivalent), and holds a valid driver’s license; a CDL and DOT medical card are advantageous. Extensive experience with heavy‑truck and equipment repair, including brake work, tune‑ups, basic wiring, and welding, is required. Strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and familiarity with equipment such as Vermeer/Ditch Witch drills and aerial lift units are also essential. • Demonstrate a strong safety focus in daily tasks. • Hold a high school diploma (or equivalent) and a valid driver’s license; CDL and DOT medical card are preferred. • Possess extensive experience repairing heavy trucks and equipment, including brake jobs, tune‑ups, and basic wiring. • Skilled in using a cutting torch and performing basic welding. • Knowledgeable of Vermeer/Ditch Witch drills, plows, mix systems, and aerial lift units such as Altec, POSI Plus, Versa Lift, and Terex. • Ability to work independently with good communication and precise hand‑eye coordination.
