About the Role

As a Client Service Manager for Transportation clients in the Inland Empire (Riverside/San Bernardino County), you will work with an energetic, high‑performing team in a hybrid model that requires three days a week on‑site. The role combines client relationship development, strategic account management, business development, and advocacy to deliver innovative public‑infrastructure solutions. • Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal clients, acting as their voice within GHD. • Lead and mentor a Client Engagement Team to deliver tailored transportation solutions and develop annual growth plans. • Identify and pursue new opportunities in municipal water, transportation, and urban development markets. • Align proposals with client preferences by collaborating with technical teams during bidding and delivery phases. • Represent GHD at municipal meetings, conferences, and industry events to promote the brand and capabilities. • Oversee CRM system implementation and data quality, identifying improvements to enhance relationship management. • Serve as subject‑matter expert on technology, policy, regulation, or operational management and maintain relevant accreditations. • Monitor public‑spending trends, regulatory changes, and infrastructure investments to inform strategic initiatives. • Meet key performance indicators such as opportunity pipeline health and booking targets for the client portfolio.

What You Bring

The position requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field, a Professional Engineer license is preferred, and at least ten years of client service or relationship management experience with municipal or public‑sector clients. Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and CRM (Salesforce) skills are essential, as is a strategic, client‑centric mindset. Salary ranges from $230,000 to $280,000 depending on experience and location, and GHD is an equal‑opportunity employer. • Minimum 10 years experience in client service/relationship management, preferably municipal sector; PE license preferred; proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
