About the Role

The Senior Scientist – Product will explore uncharted questions, engineer innovative solutions, and advance scientific understanding within a performance‑driven culture that values sustainability, inclusion, wellbeing and career development. The role is designed to shape the future and improve the lives of billions worldwide. In this position you will provide product leadership for the Huggies® diaper portfolio, working closely with product teams, brand marketing, sales, engineering, insights, supply chain and the broader BCC organization. You will guide learning plans, develop claims and benefit visualizations, and ensure product designs align with strategy while protecting Kimberly‑Clark proprietary technology. Collaboration is central to success; you will influence R&D, marketing, and analytics teams without direct authority, champion large diaper innovation programs, and document key findings in a searchable format for future reference. • Provide product leadership for Huggies diaper projects and develop robust learning plans. • Lead development and substantiation of claims and benefit visualizations for innovation initiatives. • Collaborate with R&D, marketing, insights and analytics teams to validate project success criteria. • Champion product design alignment with strategy and protect proprietary technology through patents and trade secrets. • Document research findings in a searchable format and coach junior scientists. • Ensure compliance with corporate safety, regulatory, product safety and quality standards. • Influence cross‑functional teams without direct authority and manage stakeholder relationships.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates perform at the highest level, thrive in a performance culture, and share the company’s commitment to sustainability, inclusion and wellbeing. You should possess a bachelor’s degree, at least five years of product or technology development experience, strong communication and influencing skills, and the ability to travel 15‑25% of the time. Preferred qualifications include a degree in engineering or a science field and 10+ years of relevant experience, as well as deep knowledge of baby‑care products, strong mentoring abilities, and a record of executing consumer research across multiple methodologies. • Minimum 5 years experience in product/technology development and consumer research. • Strong communication and influencing skills across R&D and cross‑functional partners. • Ability to travel 15‑25 % of the time; preferred degree in engineering or science and 10 + years relevant experience. • Demonstrated mentoring ability and deep understanding of baby and child‑care product markets.
