Support biomedical engineering research at NAMRU-SA, handling labs, data, and reports
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Support biomedical engineering functions for laboratory research. • Integrate, fabricate, and functionally test systems post‑installation to meet specifications. • Set up, operate, and calibrate lab equipment per research protocols. • Conduct complex experiments and analyze data using scientific or statistical techniques. • Maintain a clean, operational lab space and manage inventory of research supplies. • Compile and edit materials for publications and presentations. • Report research status and route administrative paperwork for scientific products. • Securely maintain data and records, including laboratory notebook documentation. • Assist with ordering and inventory control of research supplies.

What You Bring
• Associate’s degree with five years experience or bachelor’s degree with demonstrable experience. • Proven ability to support biomedical engineering tasks and run complex experiments. • Proficiency in setting up and operating laboratory equipment according to protocols. • Strong analytical skills for data compilation and statistical analysis. • Excellent writing and editing abilities for publication and presentation materials.
