About the Role
The HMI/SCADA Engineer will design and develop industrial automation interfaces, integrate systems with Mark V controllers, and work closely with controls engineers and project teams throughout commissioning and testing. The role also supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, performance, and usability. • Design and develop HMI/SCADA applications for industrial automation. • Create and test object libraries and screen configurations in Cimplicity. • Integrate HMI/SCADA systems with Mark V/VI/VIe controllers via Modbus, OPC, EGD, etc. • Translate control philosophy, P&I diagrams, and flow charts into functional HMI screens. • Troubleshoot and diagnose HMI/SCADA screen issues on site. • Collaborate with controls engineers and project teams during development, commissioning, FAT, and SWAT. • Drive continuous improvement for system quality, reliability, performance, and usability. • Review and clarify customer requirements/specifications with stakeholders. • Upgrade HMI/SCADA screens to the latest software versions.

What You Bring
Candidates should have at least five years of experience designing HMI/SCADA solutions in industrial settings, strong knowledge of Cimplicity and other SCADA platforms, and proficiency in scripting languages such as VBA or Python. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment are essential. • Possess 5+ years of HMI/SCADA design experience in industrial environments. • Proficient with Cimplicity (preferred) and other SCADA platforms such as iFIX, Wonderware, Ignition, Siemens WinCC, and Rockwell FactoryTalk. • Skilled in scripting/programming using VBA, Python, or similar languages. • Knowledgeable of data communication networks and industrial protocols. • Experienced in writing control logic (ladder, statement list, block diagrams) for PLC/DCS systems. • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. • Able to manage multiple fast‑paced projects and prioritize business goals. • Self‑starter comfortable with broad‑based assignments.
