About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services for customers. The driver also ensures the vehicle meets the company’s safety standards, complies with all regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs). Perform a full pre‑ and post‑operation inspection of the truck, checking tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls, and report any issues. Operate the truck along an assigned route, load and compact refuse, transport it to the disposal site, and clean any accidental spills while adhering to safety policies. Complete required route, productivity sheets, VCRs, and other reports, and maintain vehicle readiness to minimize downtime. Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure routes are serviced efficiently and professionally. Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers and monitor waste for unacceptable material. Participate in the Company’s ReSOP program and follow all safety policies and procedures.
