About the Role
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for executing the division’s safety, quality, cost, productivity, and profitability objectives while taking care of customers. This role manages major project activities from order to cash, coordinating design, procurement, production, outside processing, and shipping. It also establishes, cultivates, and advances customer relationships throughout the post‑sale project cycle, and is based in Rock Hill, SC with 25%‑50% travel expectations. • Manage major project activities from order to cash, coordinating design, procurement, production, outside processing, and shipping. • Ensure safety, quality, cost, productivity, and profitability objectives are met. • Build and maintain customer relationships throughout the post‑sale project cycle. • Lead project milestones from estimating through execution with a proven success record.

What You Bring
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; candidates must demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (or equivalent project management experience) and 3‑5 years of project management experience managing large, complex projects. Candidates should have experience leading project milestones from the estimate stage through execution and a proven track record of success in managing such projects. Preferred qualifications include Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, prior experience in detailing, design, estimating, quality service, or production, utility industry experience, and proficiency working inside an ERP system. • Travel 25%‑50% of the time, based in Rock Hill, SC. • Demonstrate leadership in safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping. • Hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 3‑5 years managing large, complex projects. • Preferred: PMP certification, experience in detailing/design/estimating/quality/production, utility industry background, ERP system proficiency.
