About the Role
• Install cold‑heading tooling and calibrate support equipment on various machines. • Compute feed length, progression, and set process parameters; monitor equipment to maintain part quality. • Read and record measurements using shadowgraph, micrometers, calipers, and other gauges. • Perform minor tool modifications, including sharpening and adjustments. • Feed and straighten stock through wire drawer and rolls, and load material into machines. • Start machines, observe operation, adjust settings, and inspect parts for conformance. • Remove and replace bins of formed parts when production targets are met. • Conduct preventive maintenance, monthly clean‑outs, and routine housekeeping. • Move stock to and from machine locations and pull/reset tooling as required.
