About the Role
• Prepare work plans, schedules, and man‑hour budgets for manager approval. • Manage client relationships and support business development efforts. • Monitor project schedules and capital cost budgets to meet client expectations. • Lead quality control/quality assurance for water and wastewater design projects. • Oversee project productivity and achieve profit, productivity, and schedule targets. • Develop and execute engineering methods for water and wastewater designs. • Coordinate with consultants, agencies, communities, and contractors for planning, design, and permitting. • Prepare calculations, plans, specifications, technical papers, and permit applications. • Plan, design, and guide water supply, transmission, and distribution projects. • Review conceptual drawings, construction documents, and specifications. • Conduct studies, designs, and contract documents for wastewater and water supply infrastructure. • Review utility connection applications for municipal and utility clients. • Act as Client Manager when needed and perform all client management duties.

What You Bring
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our San Antonio, TX office. The role provides client management and design and construction administration of water and wastewater projects, while supervising assigned staff and coordinating technical and managerial direction for scope, schedule, quality, and budget. It also requires strong client relationship skills and the ability to develop new business. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities; familiarity with SUE projects is a plus. • Bachelor’s degree in environmental or civil engineering; PE license required. • 8+ years of civil/environmental engineering experience focused on water/wastewater design. • Proficiency with AutoCAD; pump station and treatment system design experience preferred. • Strong communication and client management skills. • Extensive knowledge of permitting processes for water/wastewater projects. • Ability to build and lead a team of water/wastewater professionals. • English proficiency for written and verbal communication.
