About the Role

In this role you will design and deliver land‑development and municipal‑infrastructure projects, including site servicing, storm‑water management, water resources, water distribution, sewage collection, and roadway design. You will prepare detailed analyses, designs, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports, provide technical advisory services, and mentor junior team members. You will support field staff during contract administration, conduct field reviews, liaise with municipal, utility and approval agencies, and assist in preparing RFPs, bids and proposal documents. • Design land‑development and municipal infrastructure projects, including site servicing, storm‑water, water resources, sewage, and roadways. • Prepare detailed analyses, designs, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports. • Provide technical advisory services and mentor junior team members. • Support field staff during contract administration and conduct on‑site reviews. • Liaise with municipal, utility, and approval agencies to ensure compliance. • Assist in preparing RFPs, bids, and proposal documents.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has five to ten years of experience in municipal infrastructure or land‑development projects for public and private sectors, an undergraduate degree or diploma in civil engineering from an accredited institution, and a professional designation in Alberta (P.Eng., P.L. Eng., or P.Tech.). You should possess strong knowledge of local and environmental standards, proven design experience in sewer, water‑main and road projects, and familiarity with planning and approval processes. Experience working with Alberta municipalities and First Nations is an asset. • 5–10 years experience in municipal infrastructure or land‑development projects. • Undergraduate civil engineering degree or diploma from an accredited institution. • Professional designation in Alberta (P.Eng., P.L. Eng., or P.Tech.). • Strong knowledge of local and environmental standards and guidelines. • Proven design experience in sewer, water‑main, and road projects. • Experience with Alberta municipalities and First Nations (asset).

Compensation varies by region: $89,800–$118,900 (BC, AB, SK, NWT & NT), $81,900–$112,800 (MB & ON), and $81,100–$107,700 (Atlantic Provinces & QC).
