About the Role
This position, posted on behalf of Harris Supply Solutions, supports the Accounts Receivable Department by providing clerical and data‑entry assistance. The role focuses on accurate handling of financial information and effective communication with clients. Key responsibilities include communicating with customers, collecting accounts receivable, and reconciling payments to identify and resolve issues. The incumbent will use Navision, spreadsheets, and word‑processing software to maintain daily cash‑receipt transactions, balance the general ledger, issue monthly statements, manage tax‑exempt status, review credit for new and existing customers, set up new customer cards, and perform general filing and administrative tasks. • Process and reconcile daily cash receipts in Navision, ensuring general ledger balance. • Issue monthly customer statements and maintain tax‑exempt status records. • Set up new customer cards and assist with credit reviews for new and existing accounts. • Perform general filing, administrative duties, and other ad‑hoc tasks as required.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a 2‑year Business Diploma or 3‑5 years of comparable experience, strong numerical accuracy, and the ability to handle customer rejections professionally. Required skills include organization, problem‑solving, interpersonal communication, strong verbal and written abilities, proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word), and a self‑starter attitude; Navision experience is considered an asset. • Hold a 2‑year Business Diploma or 3‑5 years relevant experience with strong numerical accuracy. • Demonstrate strong organizational, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills, including effective handling of customer rejections. • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word); Navision experience considered a plus. • Ability to work overtime during month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end periods and be on‑call two evenings weekly for West Coast support.
