About the Role

Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients. Contribute to the pre‑construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects ranging in size and scope. Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment. Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations as well as Kimley‑Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards. Analysts will learn one or more software programs specific to their disciplines, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, MicroStation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and GIS. • Use technical software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, MicroStation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, GIS) to analyze and quality‑check client deliverables. • Contribute to pre‑construction civil engineering design, planning, permitting, and analysis for varied projects. • Solve complex problems, support project managers, and collaborate across disciplines. • Apply federal, state, and local regulations along with company standards. • Participate in tuition reimbursement and extensive internal training for professional development.

An ABET‑accredited engineering degree (bachelor’s or master’s) by Summer 2026 in civil and/or environmental engineering, mechanical, electrical, biological, biosystems, chemical, agricultural engineering, or engineering technology is required. Salary range is $83,000–$86,000. • Hold an ABET‑accredited engineering degree (B.S. or M.S.) by Summer 2026 in civil, environmental, or related engineering fields.
