About the Role

• Submit RFIs and as‑built drawings. • Communicate with the field foreman at least three times per week to update schedules. • Facilitate kickoff meetings between office and field teams. • Create, print, and distribute drawings with deliveries and load them to the project document sheet. • Prepare and submit change proposal information and obtain vendor quotes with standard lead‑time and quick‑ship options. • Release duct equipment (VAVs, FDs, grilles, etc.) after VDC confirmation. • Assist with equipment take‑offs and tag fire dampers using updated release forms. • Prepare and send ductwork submittal drawings for approval. • Maintain and update the project tasks sheet and oversee day‑to‑day operations, handling all project calls. • Coordinate field deliveries, batch priorities, and apply onsite dates to contract batches. • Keep current drawings for each project in Smartsheet and process PO requests. • Send monthly change proposal and RFI logs; maintain duct‑leakage logs and update them with test results. • Request schedule updates every 60 days and keep the project schedule current. • Track vendor shipments, ensure arrival before rough‑in dates, and resolve missing or damaged materials. • Monitor job‑site manpower and rental equipment to maintain lean operations. • Assist staffing agencies with CIP project enrollment, safety orientation, badging, and site requirements. • Follow up on outstanding collection invoices and keep project document sheets updated.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate is local to the Dallas‑Fort Worth area, willing to travel to Houston, and has 2‑4 years of project coordination experience in HVAC sheet metal. A BS in Construction Management or a related field is a plus, but equivalent experience is acceptable; candidates must pass a drug screen, be legally eligible to work in the US, and be proficient in English (Spanish a plus). • Log foreman documentation such as daily reports, delays, and wage scale forms. • Use Smartsheets for task management and be willing to work in CAD/BIM environments.
