About the Role
The Maintenance Technician supports residents by ensuring quality move‑ins, resident satisfaction, timely service, and personal attention. They respond to service needs and deliver superior customer service. Key duties include preparing make‑ready apartments with painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general repairs, as well as addressing resident requests promptly and professionally. The technician is knowledgeable in plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal, maintains grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities, and may be on call for after‑hour emergencies. They report maintenance concerns, perform scheduled tasks, follow fair housing laws, attend required training, and adhere to safety and uniform standards. • Prepare make‑ready units with painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and minor fixes. • Address resident maintenance requests promptly and courteously. • Perform routine plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks. • Conduct snow removal and maintain outdoor amenities such as pools, hot tubs, and dog parks. • Provide on‑call support for after‑hours emergencies. • Report issues in vacant units, model homes, and common areas to the supervisor. • Follow state and federal fair‑housing regulations and company safety policies.

What You Bring
Required competencies include a valid driver’s license, EPA 608 Type II certification, the ability to read technical manuals, compute ratios, and write routine reports while following safety procedures. Education requirements are a high school diploma, GED, or trade/technical schooling, and at least one year of related maintenance experience. The role operates in a professional office environment using standard equipment and requires travel between properties, standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting up to 100 lb, with up to 10 % travel in varying weather conditions. • Hold a valid driver’s license and EPA 608 Type II certification (or local equivalent). • Possess a high school diploma/GED and at least one year of related maintenance experience. • Demonstrate ability to read technical manuals, compute measurements, and write reports. • Travel between properties up to 10 % of the time and lift/move objects up to 100 lb.
