About the Role

Supervisory duties include training, mentoring, assigning work, and evaluating performance, reporting directly to the Executive Vice President of Tutor Perini Civil – West. The role also acts as the primary liaison with clients, architects, engineers, and key stakeholders, and represents the firm in project and labor‑strategy meetings. • Ensure project objectives and performance standards are met with a safety‑first focus. • Serve as primary liaison with the client, architects, engineers, and key stakeholders. • Monitor and control construction schedule and budget; implement corrective actions as needed. • Represent the company in project meetings and labor‑strategy negotiations. • Manage contract financials, including fee payments, equipment rentals, and income/expenses, while preserving client relationships. • Apply effective management techniques to maximize employee performance. • Maintain a thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, standards, and their impact on project activities.

What You Bring

The Project Manager will oversee design, construction, testing, scheduling, budgeting, risk, quality, environmental compliance, safety, and contract administration for the Purple Line Extension Section 3 Stations. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field. • Provide at least 15 years of experience managing transportation infrastructure projects of similar size and complexity ($1.4 B). • Include a minimum of 5 years managing design‑build light rail or heavy rail transit projects. • Demonstrate prior management of cut‑and‑cover structure construction. • Exhibit a business‑oriented mindset; California license/registration preferred but not required.
