About the Role
The Transmission Lineworker is a key member of the operations team, contributing to the safe and reliable performance of the transmission network. The role emphasizes a culture of safety, collaboration and technical excellence in all activities. • Install, maintain and repair transmission line assets across the network. • Conduct inspections and identify condition concerns. • Prepare safe work methods and safety documentation. • Mentor apprentices and junior technicians; assume crew‑leader duties as needed. • Coordinate work with Field Coordinators and Site Managers to ensure safe, efficient delivery.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate is adaptable, willing to provide on‑call support, and capable of working effectively with field coordinators and site managers to achieve operational goals. Verification of a valid driver’s licence and traffic offence history is also required. • Hold a Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems (Transmission/Distribution) and a current Australian driver’s licence. • Be available for on‑call/after‑hours support and system incident response. • Possess High Risk Work licences such as DG, RB, RI, RA, CV, C2, C6, WP, or LF (preferred). • Hold a Heavy Rigid driver’s licence (preferred) and have experience in high‑voltage maintenance.
