About the Role
The role focuses on the complete lifecycle of data centre projects, requiring thorough knowledge of electrical, HVAC, fire alarm, plumbing and fire‑fighting systems, as well as experience with sustainability and LEED concepts. It involves supporting technical design briefs, reviewing MEP specifications, and coordinating with multiple vendors. Key duties include leading and supervising onsite MEP construction activities, redesigning drawings and material schedules, and managing cost and schedule control. The incumbent will interpret contracts and specifications, negotiate technical and commercial terms, and coordinate all electro‑mechanical activities with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors while ensuring compliance with the global environmental policy. • Manage full lifecycle of data centre projects from design through commissioning. • Ensure MEP systems (electrical, HVAC, fire alarm, plumbing, fire fighting) comply with specifications. • Lead and supervise onsite MEP construction teams and coordinate with vendors, consultants, and subcontractors. • Review and redesign MEP drawings and material schedules; control project costs and timelines. • Conduct sustainability assessments, including LEED and related concepts. • Interpret contracts, specifications, and project scopes for contractors and engineers. • Prepare variation orders and negotiate with subcontractors and clients. • Adhere to Turner & Townsend’s global environmental policy.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a B.E/B.Tech degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, with a postgraduate qualification considered advantageous, and possess at least ten years of relevant experience, preferably within a construction consultancy and data‑centre projects. Strong technical skills, excellent English communication, and proven leadership abilities are essential. • Hold B.E/B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical engineering; postgraduate degree is a plus. • Minimum of 10 years post‑qualification experience, preferably in construction consultancy and data‑centre projects. • Demonstrated technical expertise in MEP design and construction. • Strong verbal and written English communication skills. • Experience with sustainability and LEED frameworks.
