About the Role

The inspector will evaluate structural works on‑site, covering concrete, steel, formwork, rebar, precast elements and related civil infrastructure. They will monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with approved shop drawings, method statements, materials and specifications. They will report non‑conformances, delays, or contract deviations to the Site or Resident Engineer and witness material testing to verify quality control procedures. Comprehensive site records, including daily inspections, progress updates and photographs, will be maintained. The role includes reviewing contractor daily reports, verifying manpower and equipment adequacy, and coordinating with other discipline inspectors to resolve interface issues. Participation in technical and progress meetings and assistance in reviewing method statements and ITPs from an implementation view are also required. • Inspect on‑site structural elements such as concrete, steel, formwork, rebar, and precast components. • Verify contractor work against shop drawings, method statements, materials and specifications. • Report non‑conformances, schedule delays, and contract deviations to senior engineers. • Witness and document material testing and quality‑control procedures. • Keep daily inspection logs, progress reports and photographic records. • Review contractor daily reports and assess manpower and equipment sufficiency. • Coordinate with other discipline inspectors to resolve interface conflicts. • Attend and contribute to technical and progress meetings. • Evaluate method statements and ITPs for site implementation feasibility. • Enforce health, safety and environmental compliance on the site.
