Encap Machine Setter

About the Role

The individual will perform machine setup and operate machines as needed, handling machine parts per print for customer orders across various workstations in the Encap Department. The role requires compliance with current ISO standards, all safety regulations, and good housekeeping practices. A typical day involves ensuring the machine uses the proper mold and temperature, maintaining production standards, and being flexible to work at any workstation to meet production goals. The employee will inspect products for conformance to specifications, set up and troubleshoot machinery, and may train new staff assigned to the area. What You Bring

Strong communication skills are required to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Mathematical abilities such as probability, statistical inference, geometry, and the application of fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions are important. Reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, draw valid conclusions, and make sound judgments is also needed.
