About the Role

• Lead configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday Compensation elements such as plans, merit, bonus, grades, and eligibility rules. • Design and maintain compensation frameworks aligned with the organisational pay philosophy. • Own setup and execution of annual compensation cycles, including merit, bonus, and salary reviews. • Manage compensation review events, UAT cycles, data validation, and stakeholder sign‑offs. • Advise Reward and HR teams on Workday capabilities and translate business needs into configuration solutions. • Build, refine and maintain compensation reports, dashboards, and audit outputs ensuring data accuracy and governance. • Identify and implement process improvements, stay current with Workday releases, and lead adoption of new features. • Support integration touchpoints with Payroll, Finance, Talent and Recruiting to ensure downstream data quality.

What You Bring

Candidates must have proven experience as a Workday Compensation SME or consultant, with hands‑on configuration of compensation plans, merit and bonus cycles, and a strong grasp of compensation principles. Preferred experience includes UK reward practices, exposure to other Workday modules, and the ability to operate in a global, matrix organisation.
