About the Role
Receives, inspects, and verifies incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders. Prepares and packages products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Operates basic shipping equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and wrapping machines. Maintains accurate records of shipped and received goods in the inventory management system. Assists in loading and unloading trucks and containers. Ensures the cleanliness and organization of the shipping and receiving area. What You Bring
Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse environment is preferred but not required, and forklift, manlift, and tractor certification may be required. Basic computer skills are needed for inventory tracking and data entry. Good communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities are essential, along with a willingness to work in a physically demanding environment. The role requires the ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods, and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions, loud noises, dirt, chemical fumes, sharp metal objects, and heavy forklift traffic. • Possess prior shipping or warehouse experience (preferred) • Hold forklift, manlift, and tractor certifications if required • Use basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry • Communicate effectively with attention to detail • Demonstrate strong organizational skills • Lift up to 50 lb and stand, walk, bend for extended periods
