About the Role
At WM, the Operations Specialist for Collections provides advanced clerical and administrative support to departmental managers and helps coordinate daily operations. The specialist assists in troubleshooting and resolving safety, service, and operational issues, maintains and distributes department information each day, communicates with other supervisors and managers about operational concerns, and maintains the office environment. Using Microsoft Suite and additional software tools, the role manages procurement, time and attendance, safety incidents, and contract labor, while also assisting with payment processing and other financial tasks, supporting operational project implementation, and communicating with customers about service issues and with employees about scheduling and work assignments. • Troubleshoot safety, service, and operational issues • Maintain and distribute daily department information • Serve as KRONOS proxy for driver and helper updates • Manage procurement, time & attendance, safety incidents, and contract labor using Microsoft Suite • Assist with payment processing and other financial tasks • Support implementation of operational projects • Communicate with customers about service issues • Communicate scheduling and work assignments to employees
