Brick Mason

About the Role

The Brick Mason is responsible for coordinating refractory activities across all aspects of the NSLX operation. Additional responsibilities include working with other melt‑shop processes with an emphasis on communication, cost reduction, and reliability of refractory components, as well as bricking EAF, ladles, tundish, and other ancillary refractory components. • Coordinate refractory activities throughout the NSLX operation. • Collaborate with melt‑shop processes to improve communication, reduce costs, and ensure refractory reliability. • Perform bricking of EAF, ladles, tundish, and other ancillary refractory components. • Uphold and lead safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
