About the Role
The company is seeking a Material Handler / Yard Person to join the Leduc, Alberta team. This role is responsible for safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials and for keeping finished goods organized and prepared for future shipments. The position requires frequent heavy lifting, operation of shunt trucks, forklifts and overhead cranes, and movement of materials within the shop to ensure safe storage. The employee must process shipping and receiving documents accurately and cross‑check them with purchase or sales orders. Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor, and teamwork is emphasized. • Load and unload trailers safely using shunt trucks, forklifts, and overhead cranes. • Organize and stage finished goods in the yard. • Perform frequent heavy lifting and move materials within the shop for safe storage. • Process shipping and receiving documents accurately and cross‑check with orders.

What You Bring
Candidates should have 1‑2 years of material‑handling experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or yard environment, preferably in the steel industry. A forklift ticket and overhead crane ticket are assets, as is a safety‑conscious attitude; overtime may be required. • 1–2 years experience in material handling, loading, and unloading. • Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or yard settings; steel industry experience preferred. • Safety‑conscious attitude; ability to work outdoors and overtime as needed.
