About the Role
The role is a Senior Document Controller on our engineering projects team, based in Edmonton, AB (with remote flexibility). You will sit at the centre of information flow across a diverse portfolio, from fast‑turnaround assignments to large capital projects, ensuring multidisciplinary teams stay aligned and projects keep moving. You will lead document‑control activities for multiple concurrent engineering, EPC/EPCM and construction projects, set up and maintain document control environments in platforms such as InEight, Aconex, SharePoint and BIM 360, and manage structured document numbering, metadata, workflows and revision control. You will process transmittals, submissions, reviews and approvals, respond to internal and external queries, perform quality checks, safeguard version integrity, and support document‑related audits. Additionally, you will mentor junior document controllers and help raise document‑control practices across the portfolio. • Lead document control across multiple engineering, EPC/EPCM and construction projects. • Configure and maintain document control environments in InEight, Aconex, SharePoint, and BIM 360. • Manage document numbering, metadata, workflows, and revision control. • Process transmittals, submissions, reviews, and approvals efficiently. • Respond to document‑related queries and provide guidance on standards. • Perform quality checks and support audits for project documentation. • Mentor junior document controllers and elevate team practices.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate brings 5–10+ years of hands‑on document‑control experience in engineering, EPC/EPCM or construction, with a proven track record in multidiscipline environments such as mining, oil & gas, power or infrastructure. Strong proficiency with InEight, Aconex, SharePoint and BIM 360, deep knowledge of document workflows, transmittals and industry standards, and exceptional attention to detail are required. Experience mentoring others, familiarity with ISO standards and audit processes, and the ability to work remotely with proactive communication are advantageous. Compensation follows our national pay‑transparency framework, with base salaries ranging from $60,300 to $88,400 annually depending on province and experience.
