About the Role

The Production Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations to ensure that manufacturing processes run efficiently, products meet quality standards, and safety procedures are followed. This role involves coordinating a team of workers, assigning tasks, and providing mentorship to boost productivity. Collaboration with management is required to meet production targets, while allocating labor, equipment, and materials supports the overall plan. The lead also monitors quality control, addresses issues promptly, and drives continuous improvement in processes and inventory management. • Lead and coordinate daily team activities to maintain smooth production processes. • Assign tasks, provide guidance, and mentor team members to maximize productivity and quality. • Allocate labor, equipment, and materials in line with the production plan. • Monitor and enforce quality control standards, investigating issues as they arise. • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, conduct training, audits, and recommend improvements. • Identify and implement process optimizations to enhance efficiency and productivity. • Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with inventory control. • Generate regular performance reports and update management on production status and challenges. • Make sound decisions and solve analytical problems. • Sit or stand for up to 95 % of work hours. • Perform periodic visits to manufacturing facilities with exposure to temperature extremes, dust, and chemical fumes.
