About the Role

The Senior Associate Sales Specialist, Emerging Technologies independently identifies and drives sales opportunities—including new business, upsell, and cross‑sell—within Autodesk’s Emerging Technologies portfolio. The role works closely with Account Executives and Account Representatives to co‑sell, leveraging deep product expertise, strategic planning, and advanced storytelling to influence customer outcomes and grow revenue. • Identify and drive new, upsell, and cross‑sell opportunities for Emerging Technologies. • Collaborate with AEs and ARs to expand Emerging Technologies adoption within existing accounts. • Provide deep product expertise across Fusion, Water, and Construction solutions. • Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue and scale adoption across customer personas. • Position Emerging Technologies as market‑leading solutions by articulating Autodesk’s unique value. • Create accurate sales forecasts and report pipeline progress for Emerging Technologies. • Perform basic customizations and resolve technical issues with minimal supervision. • Build and execute growth strategies for new business lines and customer segments. • Lead value and ROI discussions throughout the sales motion. • Drive revenue by identifying and closing Emerging Technologies sales opportunities. • Utilize advanced storytelling, pricing, and packaging knowledge to influence decision makers. • Negotiate directly with customers and support complex negotiations alongside AEs/ARs. • Engage technical specialists to advance opportunities through pipeline stages. • Support AEs, ARs, and account technical leads with Emerging Technologies expertise. • Enable partners on new Emerging Technologies and hand off closed sales for renewal management. • Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional sales teams including AEs, ARs, and partners.

What You Bring

• Demonstrate product expertise, including proofs of concept, use cases, customizations, and business outcomes. • 2–4 years of experience in sales, technical sales, pre‑sales, or related SaaS roles. • Proven ability to independently identify and close new, upsell, and cross‑sell deals. • Experience articulating product value, ROI, and technical capabilities to customers. • Strong communication, negotiation, and storytelling skills. • Experience using CRM systems for pipeline management and forecasting. • Hands‑on experience with Fusion, Water, Construction, or similar Emerging Technologies. • Background in product customizations and working alongside technical specialists. • Expertise in value‑based selling, ROI framing, and competitive differentiation. • Experience in partner ecosystems and supporting partner‑led sales motions. • Familiarity with Autodesk’s pricing, packaging, and business models. • Prior experience supporting co‑selling motions with AEs and ARs.

Benefits

Compensation for U.S. sales roles includes an On‑Target Earnings range of $81,100 to $145,420, comprising base salary, commission, potential bonuses, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package covering health, financial, wellness and paid time off.
