About the Role

The Maintenance Clerk provides essential administrative support to the maintenance function, ensuring smooth operations of the fleet and parts inventory. This position plays a vital role in keeping maintenance activities organized and cost‑effective. The clerk manages parts availability, maintains fleet records on inventory levels and maintenance schedules, and updates the computerized fleet management system daily. They also act as a point of contact with vendors for ordering, receiving, and processing payments for goods and services. • Ensure cost‑effective parts availability and maintain inventory records. • Update fleet management system daily with inventory, preventive and corrective maintenance data. • Coordinate with vendors for orders, receipts, and invoice payments. • Prepare purchase orders with appropriate general ledger codes and process transactions via ePro. • Receive, tag, stock, and dispense parts to mechanics according to corporate and regional policies. • Review purchase orders with accounting for accuracy and proper invoice payment. • Generate productivity and usage reports for management review. • Follow all safety policies and contribute to team safety goals. • Reconcile financial data to Lawson general ledger. • Support Fleet Manager with data analysis, trend identification, and error resolution. • Assist with parts organization and inventory as needed.

What You Bring

Applicants should have related experience in the maintenance or trucking industry and at least one year of general office experience or equivalent training. The role offers a pay range of $18.05 to $24.80 per hour, adjusted based on the locality of employment.
