About the Role
The technician will support plant reliability by performing inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on crushing, screening, and conveying equipment, while collaborating closely with production staff to minimize downtime and uphold safety standards. • Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on stationary crushing, screening, and conveyor equipment. • Troubleshoot mechanical issues on crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps, and related plant systems. • Replace or repair bearings, belts, pulleys, motors, gearboxes, liners, and other components. • Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication to repair or modify equipment and structures. • Assist with installation, alignment, and setup of new plant equipment. • Maintain accurate maintenance and service records. • Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, and man‑lifts for maintenance tasks. • Follow lockout/tagout procedures, safety policies, and environmental regulations. • Participate in daily safety meetings and promptly communicate equipment issues.
