About the Role

The Maintenance and Reliability Manager leads asset lifecycle management and maintenance strategies to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime of a 167,220‑square‑foot facility operating 24/7. The role oversees process improvements, team development, budget management, safety and regulatory compliance, and cross‑department coordination, using data‑driven methods and systems to monitor performance and manage contractors. Core responsibilities include managing preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs, supervising the lifecycle of manufacturing assets across the Amarillo operation, and partnering with site leadership to identify and implement best‑practice process improvements. The manager utilizes data analytics to enhance equipment performance, reduce costs, and establishes KPIs to track trends and drive continuous improvement. Leadership duties involve providing functional guidance to the plant leadership and maintenance organization, delivering training on the latest techniques, and building a high‑performing team of up to 25 non‑exempt and two exempt staff experienced in foundry, machining and plant processes. The manager also develops and controls the maintenance budget, ensures compliance with LSR safety standards, and fosters a culture of safety and excellence. • Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability. • Manage the full lifecycle of manufacturing assets across the Amarillo operation. • Partner with site leadership to drive process improvements and best practices. • Use data analytics and KPIs to monitor performance, identify trends, and reduce costs. • Lead, train, and develop a maintenance team of up to 27 staff, ensuring skills align with evolving technologies. • Develop and control the maintenance budget while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. • Coordinate maintenance activities with production, engineering, and procurement departments. • Oversee CMMS implementation to schedule work, track asset history, and manage external contractors. • Ensure all maintenance work adheres to industry regulations and company safety standards (LSR).

What You Bring

Collaboration with production, engineering and procurement teams is essential to coordinate maintenance activities, while a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is used to schedule work, track asset history, and manage external contractors safely and efficiently. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (or ten years of maintenance experience in lieu of a degree), at least five years of plant manufacturing leadership experience, and a technical degree such as engineering. Preferred credentials are an MS/MBA, Certified Black Belt, and proven success in implementing maintenance strategies and using CMMS. • Possess a bachelor’s degree (or 10 years maintenance experience) and at least five years of plant leadership experience; preferred: technical degree, MS/MBA, Certified Black Belt, and CMMS expertise.
