About the Role

The Maintenance Technician II supports the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, and automated packaging and distribution equipment throughout the building. The role also includes upkeep of base building systems within the facility. Key duties involve promoting a safe work environment, completing preventive maintenance routines with proper documentation, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems on material handling equipment, and managing work orders with detailed labor and parts data. The technician tracks inventory, mentors junior staff, and maintains positive relationships across the operations facility. • Promote safety by following all procedures • Perform preventive maintenance and document tasks • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours and parts used • Maintain department inventory • Mentor junior technicians • Communicate positively across the operations facility • Work in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures

What You Bring

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyors, and two years conducting predictive and preventive maintenance. Additional requirements include one year of blueprint and schematic reading, familiarity with electrical principles, CMMS experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferred qualifications are an associate degree in mechanical or electrical fields, knowledge of MHE safety standards, robotic maintenance experience, and ability to service industrial base building systems. The position requires physical abilities such as reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, using aerial lifts, and lifting up to 50 lb. Employees must wear appropriate PPE, work in a warehouse environment with temperature fluctuations, travel 6–12 miles daily, and spend 1–2 hours typing on a computer. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent • 2+ years experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyors • 2+ years experience conducting predictive and preventive maintenance • 1+ year experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics • Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles • Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project • Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts • Associate degree in mechanical or electrical field (preferred) • Familiarity with MHE safety standards and OEM guidelines • Experience with robotic operation and maintenance • Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions • Experience maintaining industrial base building systems • Ability to lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders, and use aerial lifts • Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment • Travel 6–12 miles daily between departments and properties
