About the Role
Our multidisciplinary team brings together mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineering experts to solve complex design challenges with precision, creativity, and collaboration. Whether you’re optimizing energy efficiency, integrating resilient systems, or engineering the backbone of next‑generation facilities, your contributions will help define the future of the built environment. • Work under supervision of a BIM Lead or Engineer. • Generate BIM elements for the discipline model per the defined Level of Development and project scope. • Create and maintain discipline model, systems, content, and digital delivery output. • Follow direction from architects/engineers while remaining technically competent with discipline software. • Accurately model BIM elements within software constraints using current 3D tools. • Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and diagrams aligned with scope, schedule, and budget. • Maintain structural model data including coordinates, scales, orientations, and view sheets. • Produce structural documentation with precise annotations. • Monitor and improve company standards and model health. • Coordinate design with other discipline models via design reviews and 3D coordination. • Execute additional digital delivery requirements as identified.

What You Bring
• Prior experience with an architect or engineering consulting firm. • Demonstrated commitment to HDR’s employee‑owned culture. • Hold a technical degree or at least three years of relevant experience. • Proficient in 3D design software and document management systems. • Skilled in Microsoft Office and communication tools. • Experience using 3D coordination tools. • Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational abilities. • Intermediate knowledge of engineering or architectural concepts.
