About the Role
The engineer will work with cutting‑edge AWS technologies while contributing to all layers of the service—including front‑end, back‑end, DevOps, and quality. Collaboration with architects and product management is essential to translate requirements into elegant, scalable implementations and to continuously improve system reliability, usability, and security. • Work within a self‑organized agile team to build, own, and operate the identity service. • Contribute across the stack – front‑end, back‑end, DevOps, and quality assurance. • Implement monitoring, alerting, metrics, logging and troubleshoot production issues. • Collaborate with architects and product managers to translate requirements into robust implementations. • Identify and drive continuous improvements in scalability, reliability, usability, and security.

Autodesk is seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to join its agile development team. The role focuses on building the next generation of Autodesk’s Customer Identity Access Management Platform, which supports over 150 desktop, mobile, web, and cloud applications as well as a growing third‑party ecosystem. This service is a critical business enabler serving millions of customers daily. • BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field. • 5+ years building cloud‑native RESTful web services and applications. • Expert proficiency in Go, Node.js, or C#. • Strong experience with relational and non‑relational data stores. • Demonstrated ability to design high‑performance, high‑availability internet‑scale services. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Experience with OIDC, OAuth2, and related authorization protocols. • Familiarity with agile development methodologies. • Knowledge of AWS stack and container technologies. • UI development experience using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
