About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent Programme Lead who will manage senior direct reports, demonstrate effective leadership, ensure excellence in delivery, and champion a continuous‑improvement culture. • Manage coordination and delivery of a major programme, providing strategic direction and aligning with vision and objectives. • Define and implement the programme delivery environment, covering people, organisation, processes, information, and technology. • Assemble the right project team with appropriate skills, experience, technical competency, and external specialists as needed. • Optimize resources and improve performance from the bid baseline by monitoring, reviewing, and evaluating activities, systems, and methodologies. • Act as the public face of the programme, chair executive steering group meetings and engage external stakeholders. • Maintain exceptional standards for safety, quality, cost, sustainability, governance, risk, stakeholder management, and compliance. • Oversee development and maintenance of programme documentation, including processes, procedures, plans, reports, registers, and lessons learned. • Foster a high‑performing, inclusive team environment that encourages contribution and recognition. • Communicate the wider business strategy to the programme team and promote related initiatives. • Ensure commercial and ethical viability of operations, influencing business objectives and meeting legislative compliance.
