About the Role
The Journeyman Electrical Service Technician (and Senior Journeyman) performs residential electrical service work, including troubleshooting, repairs, installations, upgrades, and Level 2 EV charger projects, while ensuring safety, code compliance, and clear communication with homeowners. • Diagnose and repair service panels, circuits, outlets, switches, and lighting systems. • Install new residential electrical systems and upgrade existing ones to meet code requirements. • Perform Level 2 EV charger installations, including site assessments, panel upgrades, and permitting support. • Conduct safety inspections and verify code compliance. • Deliver exceptional customer service and explain work and recommendations to homeowners. • Complete documentation such as service tickets, time logs, and material usage records. • Remain on‑call for emergency response and work weekends, holidays, or overtime as needed. • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good condition and follow all safety protocols.

What You Bring
• Hold a valid State Journeyman Electrician license. • Minimum 5 years (journeyman) or 10 years (senior) of residential electrical experience. • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and relevant state codes. • Proficient with hand and power tools and skilled in troubleshooting. • Effective communication and customer‑service abilities. • Meet company driving standards and possess a valid driver’s license. • Demonstrated experience installing residential Level 2 EV chargers (preferred).
