About the Role

The New Home Consultant manages the complete home‑purchase process, from the first customer interaction to closing, and oversees daily operations at Welcome Home Centers. This role ensures sales align with company business plans and aims to leave customers "tickled, delighted and happy." Consultants engage visitors to understand their buying needs, generate leads through community outreach and realtor partnerships, and maintain deep knowledge of market offerings and community demographics. They provide consistent follow‑through from initial contact through post‑closing, participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing programs, and keep model and inventory homes in top condition while completing required training and community events. • Engage visitors to assess home‑buying needs • Generate sales leads via community outreach, realtor partnerships and prospecting • Guide customers from initial contact through post‑closing, recording communications • Participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions and marketing events • Keep Welcome Home Center model homes and inventory homes in pristine condition • Complete required training and take part in phone‑bank and community events • Attend work sites and offices regularly during normal hours • Perform active duties involving walking in all weather and uneven surfaces • Participate in 401(k) plan with company match up to 5 %

What You Bring

Candidates should have a high school diploma (a college degree or real‑estate license is preferred) and 1–2 years of experience in homebuilding or real‑estate sales. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, strong communication, organizational and customer‑service skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales‑tracking tools, and a self‑motivated, positive work ethic are required. The position requires regular in‑person attendance at company communities, job sites and offices during standard work hours. It involves active duties such as walking in all weather conditions, driving throughout neighborhoods, using a keyboard and telephone, and lifting supplies up to 25 pounds. • Maintain thorough knowledge of market, products and community demographics • Hold a high school diploma (college degree or real‑estate license preferred) • Possess 1–2 years experience in homebuilding or real‑estate sales • Maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Demonstrate strong communication, organization and customer‑service skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales‑tracking tools • Exhibit self‑motivation, positive attitude and strong work ethic • Lift and carry supplies up to 25 lb; possess finger dexterity for keyboard/phone use
