What You Bring

NV5 Geospatial is recruiting Help Desk Representatives to provide technical support for both cloud‑based and on‑premises environments for US Southern Command. The position is remote, requires US citizenship, and may involve a basic background check; a US Government Secret or TS/SCI clearance is preferred but not required. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or possess three years of comparable IT support experience, and demonstrate competence in Tier 1/2 ticket resolution, device provisioning, asset tracking, and familiarity with Windows, macOS, and cloud support tools. Preferred qualifications include relevant certifications, language skills, and experience with government IT programs. • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or 3 years equivalent IT support experience. • Experience handling Tier 1 and Tier 2 support tickets, device provisioning, and IT asset tracking. • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, macOS, and cloud‑based support tools. • Ability to manage and prioritize complex project tasks. • CompTIA Security+ certification (preferred). • ITIL Foundation certification (preferred). • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (preferred). • Portuguese or Spanish language skills (preferred). • Experience with government IT programs and environments (preferred). • Active US Government Secret or TS/SCI clearance is preferred but not required.
