About the Role

The MEP Project Manager will manage and coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, piping, and fire‑protection systems and subcontractors to deliver a quality engineered product on schedule. Responsibilities span three phases: pre‑construction design review and coordination, monitoring construction installation and problem solving, and project completion including startup, testing, and acceptance. The role also involves reviewing contract documents, resolving design discrepancies, overseeing shop drawings, and serving as a general resource to project personnel. • Lead coordination of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, piping, and fire‑protection designs and subcontractors. • Conduct pre‑construction design reviews, resolve discrepancies, and verify shop drawings. • Monitor construction progress, perform quality control, and troubleshoot installation issues on‑site. • Oversee system testing, verify rough‑in locations, and manage equipment, valve, and damper coordination. • Develop and execute commissioning plans, including startup, testing, and acceptance with owners and agencies. • Prepare and manage MEP punch‑lists and coordinate system training and turnover. • Serve as a general resource for project personnel on MEP matters.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical, and have five or more years of demonstrated experience in construction or maintenance of facility MEP systems. They must possess deep knowledge of MEP design, installation, start‑up, integration, testing, and commissioning, and be familiar with local and national building codes. Strong problem‑solving and coordination skills are essential. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. • Possess 5+ years of experience in construction or maintenance of facility MEP systems. • Demonstrate expertise in design, installation, start‑up, integration, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems. • Maintain thorough knowledge of local and national building codes and jurisdictional requirements.
