About the Role
The Service and Repair Technician is a key individual contributor on the Services team, tasked with maintaining the service spare parts inventory, tracking equipment repairs and returns, isolating faults, performing repairs, and capturing supplier warranty credits. This role works closely with Supply Chain and Logistics to ensure equipment and component availability for installations and support. • Monitor customer service requests for repair and return of materials/components. • Troubleshoot and repair field‑returned equipment. • Ensure timely shipment of service parts orders and support inventory improvement initiatives. • Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and identify gaps between system data and physical stock. • Manage auto‑ordering setup for service spares in Acumatica. • Collaborate with product development/engineering to perform failure analysis and root‑cause determination. • Drive rapid response to non‑conformance issues within the QMS program. • Document technical findings and present defect analyses to engineering and management. • Update service cases in the ERP/CRM system and work with planning to source non‑standard parts. • Follow up with customers to confirm issue resolution and respond promptly to field technician inquiries via phone, email, or chat. • Participate in the 24/7 technical support on‑call rotation. • Assemble sub‑assemblies according to work instructions for service inventory needs. • Provide flexible technical support based on team workload.

What You Bring
• High school diploma or equivalent required; two‑year technical certification or degree preferred. • Minimum two years of experience in equipment repair, RMA coordination, technical support, or field service. • Ability to multitask and strong organizational attention to detail. • Proficient with basic computer applications, including MS Office; familiarity with ERP/CRM systems a plus. • Knowledge of quality management systems (Six Sigma, ISO) and electro‑mechanical equipment concepts. • Ability to interpret technical documentation and effectively communicate with technicians and cross‑functional teams. • Strong problem‑solving and de‑escalation skills. • Ability to sit in an office setting and stand in production/warehouse areas. • Frequent walking between office, assembly, test, and storage zones. • Safely lift up to 50 lb to chest level.

Benefits
The role offers a full‑time salary ranging from $52,000 to $70,000 per year, inclusive of base pay and short‑term incentive, for candidates located in the United States.
