About the Role
The role is for a Traffic Engineer who will ensure the safe and efficient operation of project transport systems in regional NSW, reporting to the Project Manager and Community Liaison Manager. The successful candidate will be based at the 1,200‑bed camp in Merotherie on a 14/7 bus‑in/bus‑out roster, and must be willing to travel from the region or Sydney to the site as required. • Prepare, review, and implement traffic management plans that meet client, community, and project requirements. • Conduct regular inspections of traffic control measures and update plans as work progresses. • Identify and improve areas of poor traffic flow or safety concerns within the plans. • Liaise with stakeholders, the Project Manager, and the Community Liaison Manager to ensure proper consultation on traffic matters. • Support community and stakeholder communication when temporary traffic impacts or road closures occur. • Oversee safe and efficient movement of OSOM vehicles, deliveries, and site traffic. • Deliver traffic management inductions for site personnel. • Record and report all traffic incidents and compile monthly traffic reports.

What You Bring
• Minimum of 5 years' proven experience in traffic management, including work on TfNSW sites or projects. • Hold a current driver’s licence, reliable transport, a TfNSW Traffic Management Ticket, and a General Safety Induction Card. • Demonstrate a safety‑focused attitude, strong communication skills, teamwork, and ability to build functional relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
