About the Role
Assistant Maintenance Manager (Multi‑Site) for C&W Services supports fulfillment and distribution facilities in Fort Wayne, Elkhart, and Indianapolis. This hands‑on, field‑based leadership position oversees several sites, partnering with Maintenance Managers and technicians to meet safety, reliability, and performance standards. Responsibilities include traveling between sites, leading daily safety and planning meetings, reviewing and assigning work orders, conducting equipment inspections, coaching staff, monitoring KPIs, supporting staffing and performance management, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. • Travel between multiple sites to provide operational oversight and support. • Lead daily safety and planning meetings with maintenance teams. • Review, prioritize, and assign preventive and corrective work orders. • Conduct inspections of conveyors, robotics, and material handling equipment. • Coach technicians and frontline leads on troubleshooting and best practices. • Monitor KPIs, downtime trends, and maintenance data to drive improvements. • Support staffing, training, and performance management of maintenance teams. • Ensure compliance with C&W and customer safety and quality standards.

What You Bring
Candidates need a 4‑year degree or 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience, plus at least 3 years leading maintenance teams in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution settings. Experience with conveyor systems and automated/robotic equipment is strongly preferred, as is proven support of multiple sites or large operations. Strong troubleshooting, prioritization, and team‑leadership skills are essential, along with comfort working in the field and being on call as needed. High performers can advance to Maintenance Manager, Senior Maintenance Manager, Regional Maintenance Manager, or reliability/program leadership roles, gaining direct exposure to multi‑site leadership, customer partnership, and large‑scale operations management. • Hold a 4‑year degree or 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience. • Minimum 3 years leading maintenance teams in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environments. • Experience with conveyor systems and automated/robotic equipment preferred. • Demonstrated strong troubleshooting, prioritization, and team leadership skills. • Comfortable working in the field and being on call as needed.

The position offers a salary range of $95,000 to $116,000 plus a 10% bonus, with a schedule that varies by site needs and on‑call support required across locations.
